Add your Trust Badge to any CMS
One script installs an auto-updating badge that refreshes with your score and hides itself if the badge is revoked. Prefer static HTML where scripts are blocked.
Find this on your public report URL: /report/your-slug
Auto-updating script (recommended)
<script src="https://trustbadgeai.com/api/embed/your-domain.com" async></script>Static HTML (no JavaScript)
<a href="https://trustbadgeai.com/report/your-domain.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" title="View Trust Report">
<img src="https://trustbadgeai.com/api/badge/your-domain.com" alt="TrustBadge score" height="52" />
</a>Works with classic themes, block themes, and WooCommerce storefronts.
Best place: Footer widget, Custom HTML block, or theme footer.php
- 1
Claim your badge in TrustBadge AI and copy the Auto-updating script from Dashboard or your report.
- 2
In WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Widgets (or Appearance → Editor for block themes).
- 3
Add a Custom HTML block to the Footer widget area (or a footer template part).
- 4
Paste the script snippet and save / publish.
- 5
For classic PHP themes: Appearance → Theme File Editor → footer.php, paste before </body>, then Update File.
- 6
Hard-refresh the site and confirm the badge appears and links to your public report.
Tips for WordPress
- WooCommerce: place the badge in the footer so it shows on product, cart, and checkout pages.
- If a security plugin strips <script> tags, allowlist trustbadge.ai / your TrustBadge origin, or use the static HTML image embed instead.
- Caching plugins (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed): purge cache after install so visitors see the badge immediately.
Put the badge in the global footer so it appears on every page.
Ecommerce: also near trust signals on product pages (shipping, returns, payment logos).
Keep height around 52px so it stays readable without dominating the layout.
Badge says unavailable: score is below your revoke threshold (default 70). Fix issues and re-scan.
Script stripped: use the static HTML image embed, or allowlist the TrustBadge origin in your CSP / security plugin.
Stale badge: the auto script refreshes about every 6 hours; purge CDN/page cache after the first install.
